Info for Service Providers

The NSW In-home Childcare Service Provider (IHCSP) is a Service who can demonstrate and commit to being responsible for the best practice aspects of care provision.
The IHCSP recruits and trains carers, undertakes parent and carer registrations, provides regular on ongoing support and monitoring visits to the in-home care placement.
The In-home Childcare Service Provider ideally has qualified child care workers and other staff who can offer support and advice for families and carers.

It is the monitoring support link between parents, children and the carer.

To become an approved In-home Childcare Service Provider there are two options:

1. Apply directly to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations by phonin 1300 363 079 and requesting the DEEWR Childcare Team in your state of territory.

2. Apply to NSW In-home Childcare Services to become a registered In-home Childcare Service Provider by phoning 1300 795 401.
